Vulcan, a reddish Minshara-Class planet orbiting the star 40 Eridani A, 16 light years from Earth. Its inhabitants were originally called Vulcanians. Much of its surface consists of deserts and mountain ranges, and large areas are set aside as wilderness preserves. It is much hotter, it has a stronger surface gravity, and its atmosphere is thinner than that of Earth. As a result of these factors, humans tend to tire out more quickly than native Vulcans.

Romulus had no sentient species until a revolutionary Vulcan movement colonized it around 400 CE. These revolutionaries, over time, became the Romulans. A sapient species called the Remans developed on Remus and was conquered by the Romulans, later becoming a lower class in Romulan society.

| Remus
Much about Remus remains a mystery, including the source of its humanoid population: there is no onscreen proof, one way or the other, to suggest whether Remans come from Remus itself or are mutated descendants of the original Vulcan colonists. However, a clue to his lies in the fact that appear to be a telepathic race like both vulcans and Romulans.The planet's inhabitants are the bat-like Remans, who were subjugated ever since the Romulans staked their claim and set up their new homeworld in the system. It is unclear whether the Remans are native to Remus, or whether they are another Vulcanoid-offshoot race. Because the planet is tidally locked to its sun, one side of the planet is in constant darkness. Living on this dark side the Remans are extremely sensitive to light.

Qo'noS is the Klingon homeworld, also known as Kronos.
Qo'noS is depicted as green in color when viewed from orbital space. It includes a lone huge land mass with a vast ocean, a severely tilted axis that causes wild seasonal changes, a turbulent atmosphere and extremes of both warm and frigid weather.
