He lay down on the bed and looked toward her after he was changed. He smiled at her, a slightly comforting and yet disconcerting smile.
"I am sorry Starla. I hope you know the value of an apology from a Klingon. You....you have done...well in my mending and you are or will make a great physician. Are we still near Qo'Nos or are we en route to Federation space? Not all Klingons are foolish savages. Hot tempered yes, feisty, yes. But not always foolish. Allow me to start over. I am Lekthor, Son of Kelik; second officer of the Klingon Bird of Prey Tagk. Did my fellow officers die? Am I the only one remaining?"
His tone is now one of less aggression and more of a respectable tone. One would even say civilized. He sat up a little to better communicate with this interesting human Female. He was told that they were docile, yet this one seemed to have a backbone. Which he could respect. He looked at her with a quizzical look in his eyes waiting for her answers.

"I believe we are in the Neutral Zone..."She wasn't entirely sure as to where the ship was. Starla then looked Lekthor over, she tried to get over hte brutish and fierce look of him as she made a few personal medical notes about him for later refence incase she had to tend to him later on, knowing Klingons..she was sure he'd get into a mess again." Y believe you're the only survivor.."

He looked a little saddened by the news and nodded his head. He then let out this loud mournful roar after gesticulating she should cover her ears. It was long, it was sad, and possibly some sort of death ritual. Abruptly the roar ended.
"I am going to need clothes. And now that I will not be going home to Qo'Nos I...."
He sniffs the air and does what might be considered a wrinkling of his nose though it was hard to tell do the the cranial ridges.
"Need a bath. It will make me more.....pleasant man to be around."
He gave Starla an awkward smile, as if he was not used to smiling. He then turned over on his side to better face her.
"You seem to have more courage than most females of your species. Most of them would not have even thought of talking to me with attitude in their voice. I like you Medical Cadet Starla. You have a certain quality about you. Tell me of yourself."

"There's a shower and clean plain clothes in the next room..feel free to use them..." She finished her report on him and then gave him a faint smile, she had nothing else to do now but keep him entertained, if such was possible. Starla dusted some of the dirt off her uniform," Well. uhm... What would you care to know?"

"How long until you become an officer in a more official capacity"
He asks her from inside the shower in the other room. His voice was loud and thunderous over the sound of the shower. Starla had no problem hearing him.
"I heard you Federation types have what is called a tour of duty. Why did they let you and a bunch of children leave your academy. They do know that our two peoples are at war right? I mean such foolery costed you the lives of at least two of your men."
He exits the shower wrapped in a towel. He was a very built man. A fine Klingon specimen. Hell, he was a fine specimen of a man in general.

Seeing him wrapped in a towel was well..uhm, something, She avoided looking at him directly as she went over to the shelf and grabbed a set of dry clothes, they were of a soft fabric, and plain white. Starla handed him the clothes, " Despite the war and the possibility of death, some of us young Students believe in serving the Federation, and so we prove ourselves by going headlong into this spat between us and the Klingon Empire.."

He quickly gets dressed and taps her on the shoulder perhaps a little stronger than he intended
"It is a saying from your planet that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I hate Romulans, I assume you hate Romulans. Ergo we are now friends. Fear not though. There is much Honor in having a Klingon for a friend. Besides, your attractive for a human woman." He said with a smile that did not all look out of place.

" An enemy of an Enemy is a friend..Far to true." She inhaled deeply as she looked at him. Wait.. did he just say she was attractive? Starla opened her mouth to speak to him, but a sudden feeling came over her, it was a tingling sensation. She looked to her hands, and she realized she was being energized. She began to fade, the last thing she saw wa shim, also fading out.

He watched her begin to beam away when he noticed that he himself was beginning to fade away. Lekthor could never quite get used to being beamed to places. He always had this feeling of dread that he would be lost in between transport locations. Once they were materialized familiar scents came wafting by. He looked around and noticed they were once again on board the Tagkt.

She looked about, she knew right away she was NOT on a Federation ship. Fear began to sweep over her as she looked at the Klingons that were in the Transporter room, some of the color in her face vanishing. Ok, One Klingon she can handle..a SHIP of Klingons..she felt like dead meat. Starla reached for her side, well go figure..no phaser. Unsure what to do or say, if anything at all, she just slowly crept backwards.

Lekthor walked over to his "brothers" in the transporter room and embraced them in Klingon fashion. The Klingon language was a very sharp, almost Germanic language. He was now talking to the Klingons and pointing at Starla. There was a brief altercation that resulted in one of the Klingons beaten pretty badly by Lekthor, then again Lekthor's bottom lip was busted open. The other Klingons stood at attention and did not proceed. Lekthor walked over to Starla, got really close to her face, their lips almost brushing each others.
"The only way your going to live through this is if you follow my instructions. They have agreed to let you live, though you are to be our prisoner and will be put in the holding cells/brig(Not sure what Klingons call it). You will be alive though"
He tried to offer her s comforting smile, then gestured for her to start walking out of the room with a flick of a disrupter he had in his hand and a wink

OH Jesus..she thought before nodding and moving ahead of him, she eyed the other Klingons, they eyed her back . She disliked the grubby, smelly ship, It seemed Klingons were not entirely all that clean, or maybe it was just this ship in particular..either way she didn't like it. Starla looked around with ehr eyes, though she kept ehr ehad downa bit, as a prisoner shoulder. She could feel Klingon eyes on her, making her nervous.

Lekthor directed her to the brig. Once the others left he came as close to her as he could come without touching the shields.
"I need to go inform the first officer and the captain of my return. And request that I be posted as your guardian. I will return as soon as I am able."
He walks out of the room leaving her in her cell alone in a strange ship and surrounded by enemies.

She was being left here, she wanted to plead for him to stay but said nothing. After he left, she sat quietly and waited for his return. Starla had a couple visitors, two gruff looking Klingons who spoke to ehr in their tongue, she just starred at them silently not knowing what they were saying. She jumped slightly when one pulled out a dagger, it was frightening looking.

About that time Lekthor comes into the room. He yells at them in Klingon and they leave.
"They will not hurt you now. I came back here as fast as I could. The Captain has given permission for me to guard your cell. Let me know if you hunger. I will prepare you some Klingon children dishes. They are mild and I am sure you would find it less...."disgusting" than our normal meals."
